The all-new XServer personal account

After a long stretch without news, we are finally ready to introduce our big project — a brand-new customer dashboard! We rewrote it completely from scratch, and the modern stack underneath will let us ship new features noticeably faster from now on.

The new interface is faster, more convenient and more modern. Below is a brief tour of what has been improved, and we will start with the "front door".

Sign-in

You can register and sign in with Google, Facebook, GitHub and Apple. In addition, you can now sign in without a password using biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition, depending on what your device supports). And for even stronger security we have added two-factor authentication via time-based one-time passwords (TOTP), which can be generated by an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy and the like) or by your browser's built-in password manager.

Team

You can now attach additional e-mail addresses to your account for specific departments — for example, a technical contact or accounting. But the most interesting part is the ability to add team members and assign them access permissions. Yes, this is the long-awaited sub-account feature that many of our customers have been asking about for a long time.

Servers

The server list is now displayed as tiles whose appearance you can customize. You can see resource usage at a glance, along with additional information such as the operating system, notes and more.

Server control panel

It is now a page packed with useful widgets that you can drag around, hide and interact with. As a result, all the information about your server is in front of you on a single page — including a live image of the console screen.

Widgets contain a summary, while separate tabs give you the most detailed view of sections like:

• Network: IP addresses and network interface settings, traffic, private networks;
• Finance: the billing cycle — renewal, deferral, cancellation, freeze, a breakdown of resource costs, and more;
• Configuration: managing resources and add-on services;
• Monitoring: now with additional settings and in real time;
• Backups: managing snapshots and restoring from backups.

Words alone are not enough — this needs to be seen. We are confident you will be pleasantly surprised!

OS installation

As before, the process takes less than a minute, but when starting the installation we have added options like SSH keys, setting your own password and changing the SSH port — and we have also expanded the choice of available control panels.

In-browser console

Rebuilt from scratch, it is now 100% functional and convenient on mobile devices. We have also added a "share console" feature that lets you grant time-limited access to a third party — for example, your administrator or, if you are a reseller, your end customer.

Support

Talking to support has become as convenient as chatting in your favourite messenger — and not only thanks to our empathetic professionals in the 24/7 support team. Meet our brand-new modern support system! Everything you are used to in Telegram, WhatsApp and other messengers is here, including reactions to messages. The request list shows a preview of the latest message and its author, and search works across the full text of every message.

Payments

Invoices and transactions are now presented separately. You can download invoices and payment confirmations yourself, while transactions show every movement of funds on your balance in detail. You can also add multiple payers and choose between them at checkout, before the invoice is generated.

We have also changed the bonus and referral system — bonuses now accrue when funds are received, not when services are paid for. There are detailed statistics on the customers you have referred.

A new financial option is available for servers — freeze. You can freeze a server for a month, during which only the disk storage is billed, while CPU and memory are not. This is handy if you do not use the server continuously but want to preserve the data on it.

Orders

A new capability — bulk server ordering. You can specify the number and locations of the servers and pay for them in a single payment. Order history is available in its own section, and cancelled or deleted servers stay in an archive with one-click restoration within two weeks of deletion (for virtual servers).
