New platform for virtual servers

We are happy to share the pleasant news with you - we have launched a new virtualization cluster based on ultra-modern hardware and software! Now all ordered virtual servers are created in the new cluster, and there is also the possibility of transferring existing virtual servers from the current cluster to the new one.
Hardware
As before, all hardware components are duplicated, and the main difference of the new cluster is that now we use the latest HPE DL360 Gen10 servers with powerful Intel Xeon Gold 6248R processors with a frequency of 3.0GHz and 24 cores, as well as DDR4 memory operating at 2933MHz. Each node of the new cluster accommodates 3 times more virtual servers, since it has 1024GB of RAM and 96 processor cores, the performance of which has become 40% higher. Soon we will also launch a new storage with twice the performance of the one currently used.
Software
The new servers are combined into a fault-tolerant cluster using VMware vSphere 7. This is the latest version of software for creating virtualization infrastructure from the industry leader. All features that were previously implemented by us are supported, including virtual local networks that can unite servers in both clusters.
Nice touches
The web console of new servers loads faster, adjusts screen resolution to window size, and also allows using clipboard, for example, for entering text commands or passwords. Over time, several more improvements will be implemented for more comfortable work through the web console.
Prices
We have been providing virtual servers since 2010, and according to our tradition, we never raise prices for this service. The cost of servers either decreases or remains at the same level with more resources. This time nothing has changed globally, but there is pleasant news - the price for HDD storage has been reduced by 2 times.
