Bulgaria location upgrade

Actually, this is not an upgrade, but a completely new location, just in a familiar place for you.

The situation in Ukraine increasingly forces business owners and system administrators to look for a new safe home for their projects. In light of this, our essentially backup site in Bulgaria has gained new life. Having excellent connectivity with Ukraine (network delays are so small that clients don't even notice that the project or remote desktop is not in Ukraine), it has become an ideal backup location.

What has changed?

Hardware

Cluster nodes: New cluster nodes consist of Dell R640 servers, tested by us in the US. Computing power is now uniform across all locations thanks to Intel Xeon Gold processors running at 3GHz.

Storage: Now in Bulgaria we also use HPE MSA 2050 shared storage, which unleashes significant potential in performance and capabilities.

Network: Here we also use our beloved HPE switches based on Comware OS, which have almost all network capabilities available at the moment.

Software

Virtualization: Now in Bulgaria we also use the latest version of VMware vSphere 7 virtualization infrastructure.

What was added?

• High Availability: Now in Bulgaria the cluster has high availability, which reduces the recovery time for virtual servers by orders of magnitude.
• Backup: Long-awaited function in this location, available as before for free. Backup is done automatically weekly, 4 latest recovery points are saved.
• HDD Storage: Another previously unavailable option now in Bulgaria!
• Virtual Networks (VLAN): You can combine virtual servers from any locations into a single isolated local network!
